Turtle Cupcakes:
Ingredients:
- 1 Chocolate Cake Mix (Any chocolate flavor should work fine) and all ingredients called for
- 2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans
- 2 Cups Quartered Caramel Candies
- Chocolate Icing (Your preference)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix cake batter as instructed on the package
- Fill Cups 2/3 full (I use an ice cream scoop to make sure they are all even)
- Bake cupcakes for 10 minutes
- Mix the Pecans, Chocolate Chips, and Quartered Caramel Candies
- Pull cupcakes out of the oven and place a spoonful of the pecan/chocolate chip/caramels mixture in the center of the cupcake top (it will sink to the middle)
- Bake for another 10 minutes
- Let the cupcakes cool before icing with the Chocolate frosting.
- Decorate with the leftover Pecans, Caramels, and Chocolate Chips.
